What is this Masterclass about?
How would the Moon look like 10 days from now? Would it be full, half or absent? How can you be 100% sure? In this session, students get to visually understand how the phases of the Moon cycle in a Month through interactive hands-on activities.
What are the highlights of this Masterclass?
The students get to understand about the shifting shapes of the Moon, solar and lunar eclipses through torch and some paper balls. They also get to simulate the lunar cycle on their computers and predict exactly where the Moon would be at a given time point in a day.

The session aims to clear all doubts about the science of the shifting shapes of the Moon and eclipses.
How do I prepare for this Masterclass?
Carry a couple of rough A4 sheets and a torchlight to create dummies of our own Moon, Earth and Sun.
