What is the workshop about?

Children come together in an online debate session. They'll participate in a sturctural debate and engage in multiple rounds of speaking and rebutting.

What are the skills children acquire?

They will learn how to frame their thoughts in a crisp and relavent styles. They'll observe what it means to 'listen' to an argument and what are the many ways in which you refute the cental argument of one's point.

What are the highlights of the session?

Each class has a new topic, and the kids are divided between 'for' or 'against' in real time to foster new thoughts!

What are the key takeaways?

A better and wholesome understanding of that day's debate topic. Being able to analyse one statement from many sides and perceptions. Increasing their knowledge base.

How do I prepare for the session?

Just check out the debate topic for the day, and think of a few pointers for both the sides (For and against). Leave the rest for the class!
